Family-owned and operated Alexander Valley Vineyards is in the heart of Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley, on the historic site originally settled in the 1840s by valley namesake Cyrus Alexander. Cyrus called the property “the brightest and best spot in the world” and began the tradition of family farming that has been continued by the Wetzel Family since 1962. Home to over 720 acres and a 48,000 square foot underground barrel aging cave, AVV is committed to producing handcrafted estate wines. Each wine reflects the special place they call home and they are known for elegant Cabernet Sauvignon, luscious Chardonnay, rich Merlot, iconic Zinfandels, and CYRUS, AVV’s tribute to the best of the region. Their friendly tasting room is open daily 10-5, walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are encouraged.

Tasting for Groups of 7 or more: $35 per person - 48-hour reservations required
Vineyard Hikes - $85 per person, $65 for club members (up to six tickets), requires 48-hour notice
Immersive Cave Tour & Tasting Experience - Experience an exclusive wine cave tour and tasting in Sonoma's largest underground wine cave, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste wine straight from the barrel. This 60-minute one-of-a-kind experience is offered on Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm. Space is limited and advanced reservations are required. Tickets are $45.
