J. Rickards Winery
Overview
When Jim and Eliza Rickards founded J. Rickards Winery in 2005, their goal was to produce hand-made wines that showcased the diverse soils and varying micro-climates of their Vineyards. Beginning in 1978, Jim has established himself as one of the area’s foremost grape growers. He has pioneered efficient vineyard practices and has been a long-time proponent of sustainable farming techniques. They strive to maintain their artisan style, making small lots from several varietals grown on the estate vineyards and by select neighbors.
Testimonials
Wonderful wine tasting experience with a down-to-earth history of the operation and a nice tour through their wine cavern (impressive). We like the owner’s philosophy with regard to not using insecticides and allowing things to happen naturally. The wine is outstanding! First wine club we have ever joined and we look forward to enjoying this wine and sharing it with friends for years to come.

My favorite winery ever. We’ve stayed members through three moves – the wine is that good and we are big wine fans. The service here is always personal and great, and I don’t think there’s a single wine I haven’t loved.
